This remarkable consistency places it among the most celebrated Chardonnays in Italy.
Crafted in Piedmont, this wine is made from highly concentrated grapes and undergoes both fermentation and aging in new American oak barrels. This technique imparts a luxurious, aromatic profile while maintaining harmony with the fruit’s natural intensity. The result is a beautifully balanced wine where the sweetness of new oak integrates seamlessly with dense, ripe fruit.
On the nose, it reveals powerful and complex aromas of tropical fruit—think ripe pineapple, mango, and peach—layered with notes of vanilla, sweet spice, and toasted oak. シャルドネの畑の樹齢の高い(30年)葡萄から造るワインです。「プーロ」は、ピュア、純粋な、という意味で、シャルドネだけで造っているため、この名前にしました。畑はニッツァ モンフェッラートにあり、面積は2ha、標高は270m、南西向きです。土壌は粘土質です。9月末に収穫します。発酵、熟成ともにアメリカンオークの新樽を使用します。15~16度で4ヶ月発酵させます。さらに5ヶ月、澱と共に樽で熟成させます。バトナージュは、発酵中は週に2回、熟成期間中は月に1度行います。これまで樽の風味が強すぎたので、2018VTから樽熟成の期間を短くしました。トロピカルフルーツを思わせる凝縮された濃厚な果実と新樽の甘く心地よい風味がバランスよく混ざりあっています。
